Chapter Seventeen

Time for Audacious Faith

We must begin preparing our hearts to live through the coming

divine shakings and the greater harvest of nations. And the

most important area of our preparation must be our faith. We

know that God is going to increasingly become audacious,

therefore we must be ready to serve the Lord with audacious

faith. The writer of Hebrews says

And without faith it is impossible to please God, because anyone who comes to him must believe that He exists and that He rewards those who earnestly seek him. (Heb. 11:6).

God wants to use us, but that depends on our willingness and

ability to trust him. As trials get bigger we must learn to allow

God to stay bigger than our problems. This means we need to

keep growing in our faith in God.

Let me challenge each of us to consider the condition of our

faith. If God is ready to be audacious, do we have the faith He

can use? Let me share a learning moment in my life when God

challenged me to stretch beyond my comfort zone. Faith

usually does not come in easy steps, but in sudden moments

of challenge. In those moments we learn where our faith is.
