The Shaking of Nations - A Harvest Tsunami Is On Its Way....
Nothing touches us deeper and demands more commitment
than facing pain. And when pain is faced in the strength and
power of the Holy Spirit, our selfish life is denied and the life of
Christ grows stronger and helps us obey the Lord. When such
suffering continues and we continue to rightly respond to it, it
accomplishes a deep work of grace and transformation in us.
Through such transformed lives the Holy Spirit is able to
manifest the Lord with great power and glory.
The most challenging and yet the most glorious moment of
Jesus’ life was His six hours on the cross. As Jesus faced the
suffering of the cross He prayed:
Father the hour has come. Glorify your Son, that your Son may glorify you. (John 17:1)
“ Now my soul is troubled, and what shall I say? Father, save me from this hour? No, it was for this very reason I came to this hour. Father, glorify your name! ” Then a voice came from heaven, “I have glorified it, and will glorify it again” ( John 12:27-28).
At the death of our Lord, God was glorified through the absolute
love and obedience of His son to reveal the depth of the
Father’s love for us all. He also offered up Himself to allow God
to then demonstrate His absolute power over death and pain.
And when Jesus had cried out again in a loud voice, He gave up His spirit. At that moment the curtain of the temple was torn in two from top to
