Comparing Daniel and Ezekiel ´ There was a marked difference between the respective ministries of Daniel and Ezekiel. Daniel served in the palace court in an administrative capacity. Here he had the important tasks of maintaining the honor of God and of watching out for the welfare of the Jewish people. He was not occupied in going about the land in a preaching or pastoral-type ministry. Ezekiel, on the other hand, did have this kind of work. His time was spent i Q SURFODLPLQJ *RG·V ZRUG visiting people, and doing the work of a prophet. He was not connected with the palace, nor did he have any administrative position.
