Street Stories - A Ringside Seat To Over 4 Decades Of Taking Jesus To The Streets Of The World

Within a few hours, we took our seats on the couch as guests on the evening TBN “Praise the Lord” program. Before we knew it, the announcer was sounding out the familiar TBN verse, “Let everything that has breath, Praise the Lord!” Phil Munsey was the guest host that night on the show. He talked a lot about us going to Haiti and he and the audience, as well as the viewing audience from all over the world, prayed for us. As our segment on the show was over, we got up from our seats, waved goodbye to the studio audience, grabbed our suitcases and got in a TBN van that took us directly to Los Angeles International Airport for a red-eye flight. Our next stop was Miami, Florida. Just before we left, Jan Crouch told Bro Bill that Benny Hinn was having a crusade in Miami the following night. She said she wanted our team to go to Brother Hinn’s crusade and have him pray over us before we jetted off to Haiti. She had already arranged for us to meet with Brother Benny. In the past, Bro Bill had ministered with Benny Hinn in the Philippines and served as part of his crusade ministry team for years. Brother Benny had endorsed Bill’s powerful book, “God’s Radical Remnant,” so he already knew him. I began asking myself, “What kind of crazy, dangerous. life-threatening outreach are we going on in Haiti that we need Benny Hinn to pray over us before we go?” I would soon find out how vital the prayers of the saints would be for our personal survival and success ministering in Haiti.
