Street Stories - A Ringside Seat To Over 4 Decades Of Taking Jesus To The Streets Of The World
Although I could hear them ringing throughout the airport in Pagadian City, I could not make out what they were saying. As I made my way back inside the terminal to our gate, I realized the pastor from the church in California and Brother Bill Henderson had stepped behind the ticket counter at our departure gate and were speaking on the microphone. Brother Bill was preaching and giving an altar call over the airport PA system and the Filipino pastor from California was interpreting for him. I was amazed when Brother Bill asked for a show of hands of those who wanted to accept Jesus as Lord. More than a dozen men and women, dressed in traditional Muslim attire, held their hands in the air to receive Jesus. Bro Bill led them in the sinner’s prayer. I guess it is too much to ask a group of street preachers and lovers of Jesus to “keep a low profile” in the midst of lost people who need Jesus so they too can spend eternity with Him in heaven. I believe all over the world, Christians are praying for laborers to come and work in His harvest field, bringing lost souls to Christ. “ And this Gospel of the Kingdom shall be preached in all the world for a witness unto all nations; and then shall the end come.” Scripture declares,
Maybe you and I are the laborers they have been
praying for.
