Street Stories - A Ringside Seat To Over 4 Decades Of Taking Jesus To The Streets Of The World

Having spent so much time in New York City with families who had lost loved ones, it was especially gratifying to know my family was whole and healthy. It was good to know I could hug them and see their smiles. Needless to say, after that experience onboard the Jet Blue flight, I never wore that clerical collar again, EVER. I retired it for good. Over the next several months, I regularly flew back and forth from Los Angeles to New York City, working with Pastors Rick and Arlene and Abounding Grace Church to continue reaching out for Jesus near Ground Zero and throughout New York City. The Del Rio boys, Jeremy, Jonathan and Jamie, served faithfully and selflessly alongside Pastor Rick, helping lead their city out of the dark and into His light. In 2002, after working to help rescue people from the rubble of Ground Zero, Jamie Del Rio joined the New York City Police Department. He worked his way up through the ranks and became an NYPD, 2 nd Grade Detective. This great family has always been faithful to the call of God on their lives. Never forget the horror of 9/11. Never forget where you were when the world stopped turning. I will never forget. I will never forget.
