Finally, I saw a livery car driver coming down the street. I waved my arms at him attempting to have him stop for me. He pulled up, stopped beside me, and asked me what I wanted. I told him my plight, that I had to get back to Abounding Grace to grab my belongings and then head to JFK Airport before my plane took off without me. He told me he was going to pick up another fare he had scheduled, but because of my situation, he told me to get in and he would take me. Thank You, Jesus for Your favor. I had him drive to an ATM machine so I could get the money I would need to pay him. He took me to Abounding Grace Church and I ran inside, grabbed my backpack and guitar, and ran back out to the car. Because I was so rushed for time, I didn’t have time to change out of my suit and into more casual clothes for the long flight back to California. If you have ever seen or heard of the chaotic, dizzying style cab drivers and livery car drivers drive in New York City, you understand how he drove to the airport. I was not complaining as he weaved in and out of traffic, honking his horn incessantly and yelling at a few other drivers he did not think were driving fast enough. (He may have even flashed them a hand gesture or two.) With his speed and determination to get me there on time, I really began to understand what the term, in a New York minute, meant. We arrived at the airport with a few minutes to spare. I thanked my driver, tipped him, and took off running through the airport. After elbowing my way through an over-crowded security line, longer than in the past because very new TSA actions had been imposed since 9/11, I raced toward
