Sing Into Your Storm

Or you might be in the midst of a prolonged storm that seems like a nightmare t hat just won’t go away, and it has rendered you weak, discouraged, depressed and without hope. In either case, you need to begin moving Heaven on your behalf! You can activate (demand) your faith to arise, that can draw forth from within you hidden courage that you might not have known you have! Determine in your heart to break forth into praise – and choose to fully trust Christ, no matter what the outcome. As you fully surrender your storm to God, you set the Lord to become your very defense!

” My soul, wait silently for God alone, For my expectation is from Him. He only is my Rock and my Salvation; He is my Defense; I shall not be moved. In God is my Salvation and my Glory; The Rock of my strength, And my Refuge, is in God. Trust in Him at all times, you people; Pour out your heart before Him; God is a Refuge for us. Selah ” (Psalms 62:5-8)

As it was with the prophetess Miriam, so it was also with Deborah that both ended up delivering a powerful victory song they sang after the battle. In both cases, I believe they both could have sang their song of victory prophetically through faith before entering battle, rather than just a song of praise acknowledging deliverance afterwards! It is certainly wise and prudent to give thanks and praise to our God continually, but in doing so after a battle is already won or after a breakthrough has come, you might not have
