Sing Into Your Storm

The pains of death surrounded me, And the pangs of Sheol laid hold of me; I found trouble and sorrow. Then I called upon the name of the L ORD : O L ORD , I implore You, deliver my soul! Gracious is the L ORD , and righteous; Yes, our God is merciful. The L ORD preserves the simple; I was brought low, and He saved me. Return to your rest, O my soul, For the L ORD has dealt bountifully with you. For You have delivered my soul from death, My eyes from tears, And my feet from falling.” (Psalms 116:1-8)

The transition from a place of turmoil and anxiety in the midst of your storm over to God is not an easy one. You can’t just flip a switch and it’s completed . It must come from rendering a heart decision to choose to incline your heart and your mind unto the Lord and begin releasing full trust into Him. Relinquish the storm that has been assailing you over to His care. It will require an act of your faith (in action) to give your storm over to God fully!

“ Blessed be the L ORD , because He has heard the voice of my supplications! The L ORD is my strength and my shield; my heart trusted in Him, and I am helped; therefore my heart greatly rejoices, and with my song I will praise Him.” (Psalms 28:6, 7)
