Sing Into Your Storm

“ Consider (keeping perspective) it pure joy, my brothers and sisters, whenever you face trials of many kinds, because you know that the testing of your faith produces perseverance. Let perseverance finish its work so that you may be mature and complete, not lacking anything. ” (James 1:2-4)

“In this you greatly rejoice, though now , for a little while, if need be, you have been grieved by various trials, that the genuineness of your faith, being much more precious than gold that perishes, though it is tested by fire, may be found to praise, honor, and glory at the revelation of Jesus Christ.” (1 Peter 1:6, 7) At different points during our life-long walk with God, we will encounter various trials and tribulations. The saints of old used to refer to it as “ the dark night of the soul ” . For everything there is a season. A time for every purpose under Heaven. When those times (or seasons) of test or trial come, learning to keep perspective , as Christ did, will be the single most difficult, yet most crucial and important thing you can do as you walk into the eye of the storm! God never loses control, and He will never leave you! He is with you in the midst of every storm! Look for Jesus standing
