surely hide My face in that day because of all the evil which they have done, in that they have turned to other gods. Now therefore, write down this song for yourselves , and teach it to the children of Israel; put it in their mouths, that this song may be a witness for Me against the children of Israel. (Deuteronomy 31: 16-19)
Not only did this song has short range prophetic fulfillment, but it also included long range prophetic insight and relevancy (fulfillment) even into our day!
“For I know that after my death you will become utterly corrupt, and turn aside from the way which I have commanded you. And evil will befall you in the latter days , because you will do evil in the sight of the L ORD , to provoke Him to anger through the work of your hands.” (Deuteronomy 31:29)
The Song of Moses itself is the testimony of God’s faithfulness and Love to Israel throughout history. It tells of how the Lord continually pursued Israel, protected them, and provided for them.
“He found him in a desert land And in the wasteland, a howling wilderness; He encircled him, He instructed him, He kept him as the apple of His eye. As an eagle stirs up its nest, Hovers over its young, Spreading out its wings, taking them up, Carrying them on its wings, So the L ORD alone led him, And there was no foreign god with him.
