Sing Into Your Storm ~ Overcoming Adversity Through High Praise

What a dichotomy of events at the same time! Final judgment is about to be poured out upon the earth but simultaneously, a company of saints are singing victoriously unto the Lord God Almighty declaring how great and awesome His works and His ways are! Fearfully and reverently engulfed in His Majesty and His Holiness, they are in perfect agreement and harmony with Him concerning the judgments being released! When the children of Israel approached the Promised Land after wandering in the wilderness for nearly 40 years, they drew near to Mt. Nebo where the Lord tells Moses he is about to die. The Lord has Moses officially set Joshua in as the new leader, as instructs Moses to write The Song of Moses – one of the very last things Moses did in his life! The Song of Moses was a poetic, (and very prophetic) song forecasting the direction Israel would choose to go in those days i.e. after other gods, playing the harlot and breaking covenant with the true and living God.

And the L ORD said to Moses:

“Behold, you will rest with your fathers; and this people will rise and play the harlot with the gods of the foreigners of the land, where they go to be among them, and they will forsake Me and break My covenant which I have made with them. Then My anger shall be aroused against them in that day, and I will forsake them, and I will hide My face from them, and they shall be devoured. And many evils and troubles shall befall them, so that they will say in that day, have not these evils come upon us because our God is not among us? And I will
