Sing Into Your Storm ~ Overcoming Adversity Through High Praise

The Lord is looking for a people who will stand in the day of battle (storms) and remain faithful in Him (trusting and loyal). The storms we encounter in our life are Divine opportunities to make us stronger and more resolute in God.

“ For the eyes of the L ORD run to and fro throughout the whole earth, to show Himself strong on behalf of those whose heart are loyal to Him.” (2 Chronicles 16:9)

There is a distinct process of preparation the Lord will take you through in life, to season you in becoming a part of the army of God. You must embrace His process and keep your eyes on Him so that you don’t become like the children of Ephraim.

“The children of Ephraim, being armed and carrying bows, turned back in the day of battle . They did not keep the covenant of God; they refused to walk in His law, and forgot His works and His wonders that He had shown them.” (Psalms 78:9-11)

“…if anyone draws back, My soul has no pleasure in him.” (Hebrews 10:38)

To stand (or remain), we must learn how to be properly suited for the warfare we are encountering. Many who fail in this area are the very ones who did not dress for battle…
