“Cast all of your cares upon Him, for He cares for you – always!” (1 Peter 5:7)

“Cast your burden on the L ORD , And He shall sustain you; He shall never permit the righteous to be moved.” (Psalms 55:22)

Hymns

Hymns are songs of worship and declarations to God that which many mistakenly think of as just “old time religion” songs that early Christian sang about God, but not actually to God. That couldn’t be farther from the truth!

Jesus sang hymns! On the night He was betrayed, in the final moments with His disciples in the upper room, the Bible says:

“And when they had sung a hymn, they went out to the Mount of Olives.” (Matthew 26:30)
