When we went home, I shared this with our

congregation and soon we had raised the $30,000

needed to build the church in Jamaica. I will never forget

“ dedication day ” as I stood on the platform of that

beautiful new church in Guthers, Jamaica, with

beautiful pews, windows, and doors. The church was

filled with people, including 30 from our congregation,

and many others looking in the windows! Nathan Jarrett

proudly stood beside me in his homemade suit,

grinning from ear to ear! It was a day I will never forget!

God is a good God!
