Chapter Twenty-Six

Roswell

P astoring Gateway Church gave us an

opportunity to spend quality time with Rick and Ruth,

and our grandchildren Taylor, Megan, Hunter and

Brock. Ruth was our assistant, while Rick served as

basketball coach, football coach and Athletic Director for

the Gateway Warriors. We also enjoyed our time with

Darla, Brittanee, and Jordan, who lived in Roswell for a

year. Darla worked for a doctor across the street from

our home and was able to walk over and have coffee

with us. It was an honor to pastor our children and

grandchildren.

Our six grandchildren attended

Gateway Christian School. Every Friday night was

Grandkids night at our house. We had fun times playing

games and eating pizza. We will always cherish having

our entire family together for a season.
