awesome occasion, meeting in the middle of that

massive stadium, to pray over the coming event. We

also prayed at the Berlin Wall.

2000:

O.C. Gentry Goes To Heaven

In 2000, my father, O.C. Gentry went to heaven at

the age of 92. My dad lived a long time on this earth and

was a man of great influence. He made an eternal impact

on me as a son. He impacted others with his sense of

humor, jokes and his infectious silly laugh. My dad was

a godly example, and when I was 9, he gave me a

prophecy that one day I too would preach the gospel.

He was a wonderful dad, husband, grandfather,

preacher, pastor, evangelist and soul-winner. He was a

happy person and loved life. He loved his family, and

he loved his wife. I never heard my parents quarrel

while I was growing up. In the latter days of his life, he

became bedridden. I would travel from Rockwall, Texas

to Marlow, Oklahoma to spend the day with him. On
