ministering in that great church.

I Smell Smoke

That same year, in 1995, Tim Storey and I

ministered together at Trinity Church in Lake Worth,

Florida. One night in the middle of his sermon, he

turned to me and boldly declared, “I see you living in a

big house with a big screen TV. ” Jean and I immediately

received the prophecy and were convinced it was a

word from the Lord. On the final Sunday of that

meeting, I received another word from the Lord, that I

would return in 60 days, to burn the mortgage for

Trinity Church. Pastor Peters confirmed the word, and I

made the bold announcement that morning, with only

60 days to raise $576,000. During the next two months,

pledges and commitments were made by the

congregation in preparation for the big day. The Lord

spoke to Jean and I to give the equity from the sale of

our home in Oklahoma City.
