Jean and I closed out the year in Corpus Christi,

Texas, ministering at Faith Heritage Church for Dean

and Renee Garner. We met Todd and Cyndy Mooring

that weekend, along with their kids Jack, Leeland, and

Shelly. It was a divine connection! They traveled with

us during the next two years, leading praise and

worship. Cyndy’s sister, Callie, and her daughters,

Lana and Lauren, became part of our ministry team as

well. The following year Todd and Cyndy started a

church in a funeral home in Baytown, Texas. The

first time we ministered there, we had pre-service

prayer in the casket room. God is an amazing God!
