Only a Sinless Person Can Save a Sinful Person

Mankind is totally without hope when left to himself. He cannot be saved by another sinful person, he cannot be saved by animal sacrifice, he cannot be saved by good works and he cannot be saved by righteous ancestors. If fallen people are to be redeemed or rescued, God has to take the initiative and provide a plan that satisfies the demand of justice and His holy nature. The beautiful thing is that God in His great love for us has provided a perfect plan. In doing so He has become our salvation.

Psalm 62:1 Truly my soul silently waits for God; from Him comes my salvation.

God provided for our salvation in the person of Jesus. Jesus is the only avenue by which we can be saved.

Acts 4:12 Nor is there salvation in any other, for there is no other name under heaven given among men by which we must be saved. John 14:6 Jesus said to him, “I am the way, the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father except through Me .”

How did God provide salvation for us in Jesus?

Thankfully, God not only had a plan for our creation, but He also had a plan for our salvation, redemption and deliverance.
