5. Everyone born in sin is destined to eternal damnation.

Because our sins have separated us from God, we are doomed to live permanently in that state of separation unless God does something to help us find our way back to Him. The ultimate state of separation from God is an eternity in a place called “hell.” This is not something that we want to think about because it seems so negative but denying a reality of something does not alter the reality of something.

As you read each of the following verses, reflect on what each of them contributes to your understanding of the ultimate destiny of sinful man.
