I Appeal To Caesar!
Every needy person sitting on the ground feels the impact of Jesus’ words, and thinks the same thing: “He is talking just to me.” * * * * * Jesus changes his order of service! He asks that the vast audience, break into small prayer group settings. Each person is asked to turn to the people close at hand for prayer and sharing needs. Jesus then asks those in each group to pray audibly for each other, taking turns. The people are assured that God is concerned, and He does answer prayer. “Thank God,” Jesus says, “His Kingdom is at work among us.” The people begin praying in small groups while Jesus remains standing at the front, praying quietly with head bowed. Finally, without closing remarks or further ministry, Jesus comes down from the rock and walks away from the crowd with two of his disciples. As Jesus leaves, Peter replaces him on the rock. When the people begin attending to him, Peter explains that Jesus will return to this same field tomorrow morning, an hour after sun rising. With great sincerity, Peter explains that a person’s positive heart condition is essential and that God’s power operates best where there are faith and love. He urges
