God's Prophetic People

Many more unholy passions could be presented here, yet as born-again Christians, we need to have holy passions, just as the priests did. As we look across the Body of Christ, I believe there are three types of Christians:

• Dedicated people who are inflamed with holy passions for the Lord and His purposes • People who have a middle-range dedication, whose fires are like little flickering flames • Those whose fires have gone out, leaving smoldering coals which need to be restored to flaming fires by the breath of the Holy Spirit

Today God is pouring out His Spirit to not only deliver a generation from unrighteous passions, but also to ignite them with holy passions. God's prophetic people are those who are being ignited and inflamed with holy passions. Passion may be defined as an intense, extreme, or overpowering emotion, or feeling, ardent affection or love. It is an intense emotion that compels action. Passionate may be defined as expressing, displaying, or characterized by passion, exultant or vehement. emotion. Formerly in philosophy and psychology the state or condition of being acted upon. 2

who are passionate.
