Matthew 5:44: “But I say to you, love your enemies, bless those who curse you, do good to those who hate you, and pray for those who spitefully use you and persecute you.” Matthew 18:21: “Then Peter came to Him and said, ‘Lord, how often shall my brother sin against me, and I forgive him? Up to seven times?’ Jesus said to him, ‘I do not say to you, up to seven times, but up to seventy times seven.’” John 20:23: “If you forgive the sins of any, they are forgiven them; if you retain the sins of any, they are retained.” 2. Prayer, intercession, and reconciliation a) Prayer – Ephesians 6:18; Matthew 6:5-13 b) Intercession – Romans 8:26-27, 34; Hebrews 7:25; 1 Timothy 2:1 c) Reconciliation – 2 Corinthians 5:18 3. Davidic worship a) Wholehearted, passionate worship unto the Lord (mind, soul, and body) b) Holy passion for Christ – Psalm 42:1-2 (seek His face, not His hand) c) Holy passion for the lost (not missionary dating, but true compassion) d) Holy passion for righteousness/purity – Numbers 25 The priestly aspects of God's prophetic people are those divine deposits which enable this generation to passionately serve and worship the Lord, have mercy and compassion for people, and passionately bring the lost to a saving knowledge of Jesus Christ.
