God's Prophetic People

Calvary was the climactic point in His life. It was on the cross that Jesus Christ disarmed the powers of Satan. It was at the cross where He atoned for our sins. It was at the cross where He turned the scales of power upside down. In The Kingdom of God, we must lose our life to find it. We must serve others to become great. In God’s Kingdom the first will become last and the last will become first. The one who desires to rule must be the greatest servant of all. This is what Jesus Christ modeled for us and it is what we must try to emulate.

IV. JESUS CHRIST OUR EXAMPLE OF POWER IN LIFE AND MINISTRY

As Christ Jesus exhibited a balance in life (character, spirit) and ministry (charisma, power), we too must follow His example by keeping proper tension between these in all that we do.
