rulers of the darkness of this age, against spiritual hosts of wickedness in the heavenly places.”

Job 36:27- 31: “For He draws up drops of water, which distill as rain from the mist, which the clouds drop down and pour abundantly on man. Indeed, can anyone understand the spreading of clouds, the thunder from His canopy? Look, He scatters his light upon it, and covers the depths of the sea. For by these He judges the peoples; he gives food in abundance.” The spiritual lens through which we must look refers to spiritual truths revealed by the Holy Spirit to our spirit. It has to do with the spiritual realm. It is in this realm where there are angels, principalities, and powers; where forces — whether good or bad — dwell. This lens takes us out of the tangible into the spiritual, which is more real than the natural. This is revelation which comes down from heaven. It is like rain drops falling upon you on a warm summer day. It is enlightening, it is refreshing, it is wonderful, it is heavenly. this is a lens in which a quickening of the Holy Spirit comes upon an individual in order to give insight into a matter. Whether it is a word of knowledge or a word of wisdom, it is an insight or perspective that has not been received by natural revelation, but rather by a quickening of the God’s Spirit. It is a word from God’s Word. It is an insightful gaze into either the past, present, or future. In order to gain more understanding of the prophetic perspective, we need to delve into what the scripture says and look at the lives of important individuals that displayed a prophetic perspective.
