Progressive Dispensationalism
Millard Erickson comments on some new developments within the dispensational ranks:
Since about the middle of the twentieth century, dispensation alism has been undergoing some modifications, leading to the emergence of a group of theologians and Biblical scholars calling themselves "progressive dispensationalists." Among the more prominent of these are Darrell Bock of Dallas Seminary, Craig Blais ing of Southern Baptist Seminary, and Robert Saucy of Talbot School of Theology. While redefining or even abandoning some of the tenets of traditional dispensationalism, they maintain that they preserve the distinctive features of that system of thought. 20
