11. WHEN DOES THE PARENT'S RESPONSIBILITY TO GOD FOR THEIR CHILDREN END? A parent's responsibility to God for his children never ends. He must be ever faithful to pray for them, admonish them and encourage them to serve God. When a child is confirmed in the faith as it is in Jesus Christ, he renews the covenant his parents made with God at the time of his dedication.
