God And His Word - A Question And Answer Approach To Understanding The Bible
LESSON 4: THE BAPTISM WITH THE HOLY GHOST
Isaiah prophesied it, Joel verified it, John preached it, Jesus promised it, I have it, and Peter said that it’s for as many as God shall call – praise the Lord! 1. Many of God’s great revelations are three fold, and the beginning experiences of Christianity are no exception. Everyone should have these three experiences to properly begin their Christian walk: (1) Salvation, (2) Water Baptism, (3) Baptism with the Holy Ghost. 2. Yet, they still need to “receive of the Holy Ghost (15-17).” This third vital step in the Christian walk is called “The Baptism with the Holy Ghost.” Matthew 3:11; Mark 1:8; Luke 3:16; Acts 1:5; 11:16; John 1:33. 4.
