Forty Days Full - An Invitation To Real Life
Day Eight The Power of Truth
In the beginning was the Word, and the Word was with God, and the Word was God. He was with God in the beginning. Through him all things were made; without him nothing was made that has been made. In him was life, and that life was the light of all mankind. The light shines in the darkness, and the darkness has not overcome it. John 1:1-5 NIV J esus himself is called the Word. When he speaks people listen. He never lies, rather everything that precedes from His mouth is the truth. His words are the baseline of truth for all of humanity. When God created the world, it didn’t start with physical action. He spoke the word and the world was created. Every action of God starts with a spoken word of truth. Christ has triumphed over him in a complete victory. It's just a matter of time until he is permanently locked up. But, don't ever underestimate the power of a lie believed. Our enemy is a master at making a lie sound like the truth. Everyone, and I mean everyone, battles with lies of the devil. I don't care how compassionate you are,
