especially considering that many of these men had believed there was no God. Believers were not allowed to speak of Him, even pri vately. The conscious presence and tangible light of God was like an invisible cloud of freedom all through the prison. God's presence was causing even the atheists to become aware of something they had never before experienced. They could not explain it in religious or Christian terms. These curious seekers were anxious to inquire of those who they knew were "those weird Christians." Some of the prison guards were softening and others were becoming angry. The number of believers was now beginning to in crease and the glow of the Spirit was becoming evident on many inmates, especially the younger men. The clash between darkness and light was about to erupt in this Russian Gulag. It would become extremely violent. Many young men were to be martyred for their faith. I would see it with my own eyes! This generation of martyrs would be God's strategy for a harvest of souls throughout the institutional learning centers and in the minds of the young when the Iron Curtain would finally fall. The results would cause the invasion of the prisons of the minds of those ordained for spiritual leadership among the youth on college campuses all over Russia. This coming generation was fixed in God's prophetic gaze for the coming holy revolution of spiritual freedom. A church planting reformation was about to spring forth bringing a dark, atheistic, anti-God part of the world into the light oflife and the freedom of knowing God who is love.
