Beginning Tomorrow Today - By Timothy Sherman

will never burn out. We are created from His substance of eternal unfailing light, life, and love. This eternal light of life comes by way of our spoken acceptance of Jesus Christ and our surrender to Him. Because of His great love for us, we surrender to Him and to the new birth that He brought to earth. Gabriel the archangel said to Mary, " And the angel answered and said to her, "The Holy Spirit will come upon you, and the power of the Highest will over-shadow you; therefore, also, that Holy One who is to be born will be called the Son of God" (Luke l:35). She said, "Let it be to me according to your word" (Luke 1:38). At that second she became the mother of the God-man forming in her womb. Mary had just become the mother of Jesus because she said "yes," to God's spoken word from the mouth of Gabriel, the angel who was sent to her from God HimselĀ£ We choose to believe in the passion and death ofJesus who died on the cross in our place. He paid our debt for the sin and darkness which had earned us a place of eternal separation from His brilliance of pure light, that light which burns up the darkness and torment of guilt, shame and condemnation that we call self-con sciousness. The blood He shed on the cross washed away all that dark ness and death. The second we believe in the Passion o f Jesus, and speak it out in acceptance, we become love-conscious from within. Because we believe that the crucified and lifeless body o fJesus was resurrected from the dead on the third day as stated in the Scripture, our heart becomes re-created within us by the love, light and life of His glorious resurrection. In that second we have passed from con demnation, shame, and judgment into life in His brilliance of love, light, and eternal life. We then walk close to Jesus within us. Leaving J udgment
