humbling, but it can be extremely rewarding. Consider going to a mature friend or a trusted leader. These thoughts may help you begin both to do the right things (grow in your prayer habit) and to do them for the right reasons (primarily out of love for God). Even if it takes some time for you to address the emotional needs you find within yourself, take that time. You may not yet be prepared to run the "prayer marathon" you see some others running. But by taking seriously your need for emotional and spiritual healing and growth, at whatever stage you find yourself, you'll soon discover new motivation and passion, and your fears will fade. You'll be discovering the Father you can trust with your life and everything in it.
