PSALMS 68:23

18 1 If I regard iniquity in my heart, the Lord will not hear me: 19 But verily God hath heard me; he hath attended to the voice of my prayer. 20 Blessed be God, which hath not turned away my prayer, nor his mercy from me. READ NEXT - Isaiah 38:9-22 Psalm 67 1 God be merciful unto us, and bless us; and cause his face to shine upon us; Selah. 2 That thy way may be known upon earth, thy saving health among all nations. 3 Let the people praise thee, O God; let all the people praise thee. 4 O let the nations be glad and sing for joy: for 2 THOU shalt judge the people righteously, and 3 govern the nations upon earth. Selah. P 5 Let the people praise thee, O God; let all the people praise thee. 6 4 Then shall the earth yield her increase; and God, even our own God, shall bless us. 7 God shall bless us; and all the ends of the earth shall fear him. Psalm 68 A psalm of King David [Probably written when King David (39 years old) brought the Ark back to Jerusalem - I Chro 16:1 & II Sam 6:12-23] Date written - c. 1041 BC/AM 2959 1 5 Let God arise, let his enemies be scattered: let them also that hate him flee before him. 2 As smoke is driven away, so drive them away: as wax melteth before the fire, so let the wicked perish at the presence of God. 3 But let the righteous be glad; let them rejoice before God: yea, let them 6 exceedingly rejoice. 4 Sing unto God, sing praises to his name: extol him that rideth upon the heavens 7 by his name JAH, and rejoice before him. 5 8 A father of the fatherless, and a judge of the widows, is God in his holy habitation. 6 God setteth the 9 solitary in 10 families: he bringeth out those which are bound with chains: but the rebellious dwell in a dry land. 7 O God, 11 when thou wentest forth before thy people, 12 when thou didst march through the wilderness; Selah: 8 The earth shook, the heavens also dropped at the presence of God: 13 even Sinai itself was moved at the presence of God, the God of Israel. 9 Thou, O God, didst send a plentiful 14 rain, whereby thou didst confirm thine inheritance, when it was weary. 10 Thy congregation hath dwelt therein: thou, OGod, hast prepared of thy goodness for the poor. 11 The Lord gave the word: great was the 15 company of those that published it. 12 16 Kings of armies did flee apace: and she that tarried at home divided the spoil. 13 Though ye have lien among the 17 pots, yet shall ye be as the wings of a dove covered with silver, and her feathers with yellow gold. 14 When the Almighty scattered kings in it, it was white as snow in Salmon. 15 The hill of God is as the 18 hill of Bashan; an high hill as the hill of Bashan. 16 Why leap ye, ye high hills? this is the hill which God desireth to dwell in; yea, the LORD will dwell in it for ever. 17 The 19 chariots of God are twenty thousand, even thousands of angels: the 20 LORD is among them, as in Sinai, in the holy place. 18 21 THOU hast 22 ascended on high, THOU hast led captivity captive: thou hast received gifts for men; yea, for the rebellious also, that the LORD God might dwell among them. P 19 Blessed be the 20 LORD , who daily loadeth us with benefits, even the God of our salvation. Selah. 20 He that is our God is the God of salvation; and unto God the 20 LORD belong the issues from death. 21 But 23 GOD shall wound the head of his enemies, and the hairy scalp of such an one as goeth on still in his trespasses. P 22 The Lord said, I will bring again from Bashan, 24 I will bring my people 25 again from the 26 depths of the sea: P
