JOB JOB a unique purpose ( Gen 1:1b & 5:1-2, Jn 1:1-4, Colo 1:15-17 and Heb 1:1-2). Arno Penzias, Nobel Prize winner in Physics, notes: 825
Astronomy leads us to a unique event, a universe which was created out of nothing, one with the very delicate balance needed to provide exactly the conditions required to permit life, and one which as an underlying (one might say, ‘supernatural’) plan . 1
The problem with evolution being taught as a fact is that, inherent in its name, it is nothing more than a theory that “evolved.” Charles Darwin himself freely admitted that he had absolutely no hard empirical evidence (evidence based on observation) that any of the major evolutionary transformations he proposed had ever actually occurred. In fact, Darwin was acutely aware that the whole edifice he had constructed in The Origin of Species was entirely theoretical. He said so himself. In a letter written by his own hand to Asa Gray, the American biologist, written September 5, 1857, just two years before the publication of The Origin of Species , Darwin admitted that one’s “ imagination must fill up many wide blanks ” if evolution is to be believed. 2 What Darwin was saying was that his findings were nothing more than theory. And theories are not indisputable experimental evidences (observed facts); rather they are philosophical presuppositions (educated guesses). Which means, evolution is not a fact (no matter who says that it is – II Pet 3:3 ); it’s a philosophy. Dr. Harry Rimmer in The Theory of Evolution and the Facts of Science notes:
The question of origin is therefore either in the field of philosophy or of revelation. Philosophy, not being dependent upon either proof or fact, but being entirely speculative or theoretical, may be expected to speak upon any subject. Since the nebulous vaporings of philosophy are incapable of proof or demonstration, the scientific accuracy of a statement or theory matters nothing in the pronouncements of philosophical ideas. On the other hand, if an intelligent and reasoning Creator is in truth responsible for the marvelous mathematical structure of the physical universe, it is only logical to suppose that He would be pleased to supply a record or an explanation of the process to whatever reasoning creatures He had been pleased to create. 3
Evolution as understood by humanistic intellectuals is based on materialist philosophy and hence incompatible with the truth about both God and humankind. As soon as a theory is presented as truth, it has become pseudo science, mere quackery, and is a hindrance to truth. Michael Denton in Evolution: A Theory In Crisis notes:
His general theory, that all life on earth had originated and evolved by a gradual successive accumulation of fortuitous mutations, is still, as it was in Darwin’s time, a highly speculative hypothesis entirely without direct factual support and very far from that self-evident axiom some of its more aggressive advocates would have us believe. 4
Sadly, brilliant men such asThales of Miletus (the father of atheism - c. 600 BC), Anaximander of Miletus (the father of evolution - c. 550 BC), Socrates (the father of humanism - c. 400 BC), Karl Marx (the father of socialism – AD 1848), Darwin (AD 1859), Dewey (AD 1934) and others have spent lifetimes attempting to verify what is impossible to prove ( Job 38:4 ). According to their own systematic use of the scientific method, not even fossils exist that conclusively demonstrate evolution from one species to another. Dr. Lyall Watson, an evolutionist and author, notes:
The fossils that decorate our family tree are so scarce that there are still more scientists than specimens. The remarkable fact is that all the physical evidence we have for human evolution can still be placed, with room to spare, inside a single coffin . 5
Dr. Stephen Jay Gould, another leading evolutionary thinker, and graduate from Harvard, notes:
The absence of fossil evidence for intermediary stages between major transitions in organic design, indeed our inability, even in our imagination, to construct functional intermediates in many cases, has been a persistent and nagging problem for gradualistic accounts of evolution . 6
It’s been noted that the probability of life arising by chance by evolution is the same probability of throwing six on the dice five million consecutive times. 7 Why do you think evolutionists came up with their own “ pet ” theory called “ p unctuated e quilibrium t heory”? Texe Marrs in Dark Secrets of the New Age notes:
A recent and profound addition to the theory of evolution is the concept of punctuated equilibria , first articulated in the Soviet Union in the early 1970s. According to this theory, species can develop very quickly. It does not take millions of years of random selection, as Darwin proposed, for a new species to evolve. Instead, an entire new species can arise over a brief period of only tens of thousands (not millions) of years. 8
The “ p unctuated e quilibrium t heory”states that science cannot discover the links between species in the fossil record because the change from one species to another occurred too rapidly to leave accurate fossil documentation. So, lest they appear foolish, these intellectuals pretend to “ pet ” something that isn’t there. Floyd Nolen Jones in The Chronology of the Old Testament notes: True science is based on “what you can see.” The first statement in the Scientific Method declares that we begin with an “observed phenomenon.” This stringent limitation which excludes GOD from the arena of science also excludes evolution as both are beyond the realm of human observation. This is especially true of the “punctuated” version of evolution, and places the problem beyond and outside the realm of science. 9 Phillip E. Johnson, a Harvard and University of Chicago graduate who taught law for thirty years at the University of California at Berkeley, in his book called Defeating Darwinism notes: I am amused by self-styled ‘skeptics,’ who invariably seem able to believe the wildest nonsense if it supports Darwinism. 10
