EXODUS 16:1

14 The people shall hear, and be afraid: 1 sorrow shall take hold on the inhabitants of 2 Palestina. 15 Then the 3 dukes of Edom shall be 4 amazed; the mighty men of Moab, 5 trem- bling shall take hold upon them; all the inhabitants of Canaan shall 6 melt away. 16 Fear and dread shall fall upon them; by the greatness of thine arm they shall be as still as a stone; till thy people pass over, O LORD, till the people pass over, which thou hast 7 purchased. 17 Thou shalt bring them in, and 8 plant them in the mountain of thine inheritance, in the place, O LORD, which thou hast made for thee to dwell in, in the Sanctuary, O Lord, which thy hands have established. 18 9 The LORD shall reign for ever and ever. P 19 For the 10 horse of Pharaoh went in with his chariots and with his horsemen into the sea, and the LORD brought again the waters of the sea upon them; but the children of Israel went on dry land in the midst of the sea. 20 And Miriam 11 the prophetess, 12 the sister of Aaron, took a timbrel in her hand; and all the women went out after her 13 with timbrels and with dances. 21 And Miriam answered them, Sing ye to the LORD, for he hath triumphed glo- riously; the horse and his rider hath he thrown into the sea. From Pi-hahiroth to Marah (4th station) (S/A - Num 33:8) 22 So Moses brought Israel from the Red

sea, and they went out into the wilderness of Shur; and they went three days in the wilderness, and found no wat 14 er. 23 And when they came to Marah, they could not drink of the waters of Marah, for they were bitter: therefore the name of it was called Marah. 24 And the people murmured against Moses, saying, What shall we drink? 25 And he cried unto the LORD; and the LORD shewed him a 15 TREE , which when he had cast into the waters, the waters were made sweet: there he made for them a statute and an ordinance, and there HE 16 proved them, 26 And said, If thou wilt diligently hear- ken to the voice of the LORD thy GOD , and wilt do that which is right in his sight, and wilt give ear to his commandments, and keep all his statutes, I will put 17 none of these diseases upon thee, which I have brought upon the Egyptians: for 18 I AM the LORD that healeth thee (Heb. - JE- HOV A H - RAPHA) . FromMarah to Elim (5th station) (S/A - Num 33:9) 27 And they came to 19 Elim, where were twelve wells of water, and threescore and ten palm trees: and they encamped there by the waters. Exodus 16 The children of Israel journey from Elim to the Wilderness of Sin (6th and 7th stations) (S/A - Num 33:10,11) Date - May 15th, 1487 BC/AM 2513 1 And they took their journey from Elim, and all the congregation of the children of Israel came unto the wilderness of 20 Sin,

Note - The cure to bitterness, which is the result of unforgiveness due to an unfulfilled expectation ( Heb 12:15b ), begins with a tree and ends with a CROSS (Mt 18:21-35, Eph 4:32 and Lk 17: 1- 4 ). The tree of the cross has continued to sweeten millions who have been embittered by life (Acts 5:30- 31). Interestingly enough, just as sin and its bitter consequences was birthed on a tree (Gen 3:1-7), so sin and its bitter consequences died on a tree (Mt 27:46). 16. Deut 8:2,16 & Judg 2:22 & 3:1,4 17. Note - S.I. McMillen in None of These Diseases explaines how God’s people can avoid infectious diseases and senseless suffering by simply following a few “God ordained principles” found in the books of Exodus and Leviticus ( Lev 13:46 ). 18. Exo 3:6,14 & Jn 8:24,58 19. meaning, “oaks” 20. meaning, “bush”
