6 To the praise of the glory of his grace, wherein he hath made us accepted in the 1 BELOVED . 7 2 In whom we have redemption through his blood, the forgiveness of sins, according to the riches of his grace; 8 Wherein he hath abounded toward us in all wisdom and prudence; 9 Having made known unto us the mystery of his will, according to his good pleasure which he hath purposed in himself: The promise of a Kingdom where 10 That in the 3 dispensation of 4 the fulness of times he might 5 gather together in one all things in Christ, both which are in heaven, and which are on earth; even in him: P 11 In whom also we have obtained an 6 inheritance, being predestinated according to the 7 purpose of him who worketh all things after the counsel of his own will: 12 That we should be to the praise of his glory, who first trusted in Christ. 13 In whom ye also trusted, after that ye heard the word of truth, the GOSPEL of your salvation: in whom also after that ye believed, ye were sealed with that 8 HOLY SPIRIT of promise, The promise of a resurrected body for NT saints (Fulfilled - Rev 4:2) 14 9 WHICH is the earnest of our inheritance 10 until the redemption of the purchased possession, unto the praise of his glory. P 15 Wherefore I also, 11 after I heard of your faith in the Lord Jesus, and love unto all the saints, 16 12 Cease not to give thanks for you, making mention of you in my prayers; 17 That the God of our Lord Jesus Christ, the Father of glory, 13 may give unto you the spirit of wisdom and revelation in the knowledge of him: CHRIST will rule (Fulfilled - Rev 20:4,6)
18 The eyes of your understanding being enlightened; that ye may know what is the hope of his calling, and what the riches of the glory of his inheritance in the saints, 19 And what is the exceeding greatness of his power to us-ward who believe, 14 according to the working of his mighty power, 20 Which he wrought inChrist, when he raised him from the dead, and set 15 him at his own right hand in the heavenly places, 21 Far above all 16 principality, and power, and might, and dominion, and every name that is named, not only in this 17 world, but also in that which is to come: CHRIST - the Head of the universal Church 22 And hath put all things 18 under his feet, and gave him to be the head over all things to the 19 church, 23 Which is his 20 body, the 21 fulness of him that filleth all in all. Ephesians 2 Salvation is by grace, not by works (Rom 11:6) Date Written - c. AD 62 1 And you hath he 22 quickened, who were 23 dead in trespasses and sins; 2 Wherein in time past ye walked according to the course of this world, according to the 24 prince of the power of the air, the spirit that now worketh in 25 the children of disobedience: 3 Among whom also we all had our 26 conversation in times past in the lusts of our 27 flesh, fulfilling the desires of the flesh and of the mind; and were by nature the children of 28 wrath, even as others. P 4 But God, who is rich in mercy, 29 for his great love wherewith he loved us, 5 30 Even when we were 23 dead in sins, hath 31 quickened us together with Christ, (by grace ye are saved;) 6 And hath raised us up together, and made us sit together in heavenly places in Christ Jesus:

1:6 This word ( accepted ) is the Greek word HFDULτZσHQ ( echaritosen ) and means, “ objects of grace .” It is the same word used of Mary at the annunciation, in which she was told she was “ highly favored ” (Lk 1:28). Knowing who we are in Christ and understanding that we have His full acceptance helps us to control our insecurities and need for acceptance from other people, especially those who are not a good influence on us. 1:7 a If JESUS CHRIST is our Redeemer, then He is the Lord (Isa 54:5 & 59:20, Job 19:25, Mt 1:21, Lk 2:11, Gal 3:13, Titus 2:14 and I Pet 1:18-19). 1:7 b Only the blood of CHRIST can cleanse us from sin (Lev 17:11, Mt 26:28, Acts 20:28, Rom 3:25 & 5:9, Eph 2:13, Colo 1:14,20, Heb 9:22 & 10:19-20 & 12:24, I Pet 1:2, I Jn 1:7 and Rev 1:5). We cannot save ourselves.
