EXODUS 4:22

blind? have not I the LORD? 12 Now therefore go, and I will be with thy mouth, and teach thee what thou shalt say. 13 And he said, O my Lord, send, I pray thee, by the hand of him whom thou wilt send. 14 And the anger of the LORD was kin- dled against Moses, and HE said, Is not Aaron the Levite thy 1 brother? I know that he can speak well. And also, behold, 2 he cometh forth to meet thee: and when he seeth thee, he will be glad in his heart . 15 And thou shalt speak unto him, and put words in his mouth: and I will be with thy mouth, and with his mouth, and will teach you what ye shall do. 16 And he shall be thy spokesman unto the people: and he shall be, even he shall be to thee instead of a mouth, 3 and thou shalt be to him instead of God. 17 And thou shalt take this rod in thine hand, wherewith thou shalt do signs.

18 And Moses went and returned to Jethro his father in law, and said unto him, Let me go, I pray thee, and return unto my brethren which are in Egypt, and see whether they be yet alive. And Jethro said to Moses, Go in peace. 19 And the LORD said unto Moses in Midian, 4 Go, return into Egypt: for 5 all the men are dead which sought thy life. 20 And Moses took his wife and his sons, and set them upon an ass, and he returned to the land of Egypt: and Moses took the rod of God in his hand. The promise to harden Pharoah’s heart (Fulfilled - Exo 7:13,22 & 8:15,19,32 & 9:7,12,34, 35 & 10:1,20,27 & 11:10 & 14:4,8 - 1488 BC)

Exo 7:13,22 & 8:15, 19,32 & 9:7,12,34- 35 & 10:1,20,27 & 11:10 & 14:8 (Pharoah’s Heart) 7. Rom 9:17-18

21 And the LORD said unto Moses, When thou goest to return into Egypt, see that thou do all those wonders before Pha- raoh, which I have put in thine hand: but 6 I will 7 harden his heart, that he shall not let the people go. P 22 And thou shalt say unto Pharaoh, 4:14 Aaron’s name means “enlightened, rich, mountaineer.” Aaron is referred to 5 times in the NT (Lk 1:5, Acts 7:40 and Heb 5:4 &7:11 & 9:4). 4:21 God does not harden the heart of anyone who isn’t already a confirmed rebel in his heart (Exo 5:1-2 & 7:3,13,14,22 & 8:15, 19,32, & 9:7,12,34,35 & 10:1,20,27 & 11:10). He simply makes people (like Pharaoh here) an example of sin’s end. “Resistance” towards the laws of God (be they physical or spiritual) always leads to a greater “resistance” towards you ( Jere 28:10 ). We know that for every action (Pharaoh pushed against God’s ordained will) there is an opposite (but not always equal) reaction (God pushed back). Meaning: You can only resist a fixed law and the God who ordained that law until its resistance to you prevails. “Resist” the laws of God and for awhile it can appear that you are winning. However, in the end you will lose every time. Why? Because God ordained three fixed laws of motion: Law #1. Any object not causing friction is at rest (called ‘ The Law of Inertia ’) Take the planets in our solar system that revolve around our sun as an example. Although they are very large objects, because they are ordained to be there, they rotate in space around God’s sun without any resistance (they are at rest). Fact: If you don’t cause “friction” with the laws of God, you too will be at rest. Law #2. Any object not at rest is causing friction (called ‘ The Law of Impulse and Momentum,’ i.e., collisions and impacts) Take asteroids and meteors in our solar system as an example. Although they too are planetary items in our solar system (just like our planets), unlike our planets, they are rogue (not in God’s will, probably due to an earlier rebellion in our planetary system - Ezk 28:12). Thus, they fly throughout our planetary system causing havoc. Just look at the craters on the moon, on other planets, and even on our own planet. Fact: If you “cause friction” with the laws of God, you will not remain at rest; and you will accelerate in a direction of motion that you do not want to go. Law #3. Any object resisted against will resist back (called “ The Law of Interaction,’ i.e., action-reaction law) Take water as an example. A swimmer can only resist the resistance of water for so long. Then he must succumb. Why? Because water is a fixed resistance, and you can only resist a fixed resistance until its resistance to you prevails. Resist the laws of God (cause friction) and God “will” resist back. Take the asteroids and meteors in our solar system as an example. Although they fly throughout our planetary system causing havoc, they cannot alter the direction of ordained objects that they resist. If you’ll notice, our moon, thought pelted with asteroids and meteors for eons of time, still revolves around our earth according to God’s will (Gen 1:14-18). No matter what kind of damage the moon has received by rogue objects in space, the moon remains fixed. The same is true for our own planet. No matter what kind of damage our planet has received by these rogue objects in space our planet still revolves around the sun, according to God’s will. Meaning: You can resist God’s will (cause friction against His laws), but you cannot win. Why? Because God’s laws are fixed, ordained, and thus greater than we are; and the harder we push against them the harder they push back… until we are either broken ( Psa 51 :1- 17 ) or ruined ( Rom 1: 18- 32 ). Fact: If you don’t resist God’s ordained laws (cause friction with God), He won’t resist back. NOTE – If you and I are going in a direction opposite of the laws of God, the net force applied to you and I by the laws of God will produce a proportional acceleration. Meaning: Depending on the object you are pushing against will determine who will win in the “resistance” game.
