The promise of a JUDGMENT DAY to come (Fulfilled - Rev 20:11-15) 6 God forbid: for then how shall God 13 judge the world? P 7 For if the truth of God hath more abounded through my lie unto his glory; why yet am I also judged as a sinner? 8 And not rather, (as we be slanderously reported, and as some affirm that we say,) Let us do evil, that good may come? whose 14 damnation is just. 9 What then? are we better than they? No, in no wise: for we have before proved both Jews and Gentiles, that 15 they are all under sin; No one is good enough to save himself (See - Isaiah 64:6) 10 As it is written, 16 There is none righ- teous, no, not one: 11 16 There is none that understandeth, there is none that seeketh after God. 12 16 They are all gone out of the way, they are together become unprofitable; 17 there is none that doeth good, no, not one. 13 18 Their throat is an open sepulchre; with their tongues they have used deceit; 19 the poison of asps is under their lips: 14 20 Whose mouth is full of cursing and bitterness: 15 21 Their feet are swift to shed blood: 16 21 Destruction and misery are in their ways: 17 21 And the way of peace have they not known: 18 22 There is no fear of God before their eyes.
24 For the name of God is blasphemed among the Gentiles through you, 1 as it is written. 25 For circumcision verily profiteth, 2 if thou keep the law: but if thou be a break- er of the law, thy circumcision is made uncircumcision. 26 Therefore if the 3 uncircumcision keep the righteousness of the law, shall not his un- circumcision be 4 counted for circumcision? 27 And shall not uncircumcision which is by nature, if it fulfil the law, judge thee, who by the 5 letter and circumcision dost transgress the law? 28 6 For he is not a Jew, which is one out- wardly; neither is that circumcision, which is outward in the flesh: 29 But he is a Jew, which is one inwardly; 7 and circumcision is that of the heart, in the spirit, and not in the 5 letter; whose praise is not of men, but of God. Romans 3 Paul continues his indictment of the self-righteous Jew Date Written - AD 57 1 What advantage then hath the Jew? or what profit is there of circumcision? 2 Much every way: chiefly, 8 because that unto them were committed the 9 ora- cles of God. 3 For what if 10 some did not believe? shall their unbelief make the 11 faith of God without effect? 4 God forbid: yea, let God be true, but ev- ery man a liar; as it is written, 12 That thou mightest be justified in thy sayings, and mightest overcome when thou art judged. 5 But if our unrighteousness commend the righteousness of God, what shall we say? Is God unrighteous who taketh ven- geance? (I speak as a man)

19 Now we know that what things so- ever the law saith, it saith to them who are under the law: that every mouth may be stopped, and all the world may become guilty before God. 2:29 All who trust in Jesus are the children of Abraham inwardly and part of the Jewish race “ spiritually” (Rom 9:6-8). Both Old and New Testament saints get saved the same way –via the Gospel (Gal 3:6-9,29). 3:10 This word ( righteous ) comes from a Greek word meaning “ to live in such a way as to be morally and ethically pleasing to God .” In spite of our best efforts, God reminds us that we all fall short of living in such a way as to be morally and ethically pleasing to God, thus our need for a Savior. From man’s point of view there are some good and righteous people, but from God’s point of view there are “ none righteous, no, not one ” ( Eccl 7:20 , Zech 3:3 , Mt 22:10 and Rom 3:23 a,b ). Isaiah reminds us that the best that humans can do is nothing but a used, filthy, menstrual rag to God ( Isa 64:6 ). 3:11 Although men claim to seek God through religion, in reality, there is none that seeketh after God . God can’t be found through man’s search. God can only be found through an understanding of the Gospel of CHRIST (Rom 5:8-10 and II Cor 5:18-19). Christianity is the only true religion ( Mt 19:16 ). 3:19 The Law was not given to save man from sin, but to reveal man’s sinfulness ( guilty before God – Acts 13:39). Therefore the Law should stop all human boasting and show mankind his need for a Savior (Rom 3:28 & 7:7-12 and Gal 3:19,24).
