27 And likewise also the men, leaving the natural use of the woman, burned in their lust one toward another; men with men working that which is unseemly, and receiving in themselves that recompence of their error which was meet. 28 And even as they did not like to re- tain God in their knowledge, God gave them over to a reprobate mind, to do those things which are 1 not convenient; 29 Being filled with all unrighteousness, fornication, wickedness, covetousness, maliciousness; full of envy, murder, debate, deceit, malignity; whisperers, 30 Backbiters, haters of God, despiteful, proud, boasters, inventors of evil things, disobedient to parents, 31 Without understanding, covenant- breakers, without natural affection, impla- cable, unmerciful: 32 Who knowing the judgment of God, that they which commit such things are worthy of death, not only do the same, but have pleasure in them that do them. 8 But unto them that are contentious, and do not obey the truth, but obey un- righteousness, indignation and wrath, 9 Tribulation and anguish, upon every soul of man that doeth evil, of the Jew first, and also of the Gentile; God’s acquittal of the saved 10 But glory, honour, and peace, to every man that worketh good, to the Jew first, and also to the Gentile: 11 10 For there is no respect of persons with God. 12 For as many as have sinned 11 with- out law shall also perish without law: and as many as have sinned in the law shall be judged by the law; 13 12 (For not the hearers of the law are just before God, but the 13 doers of the law shall be justified. 14 For when the Gentiles, which have not the law, do by nature the things contained in the law, these, having not the law, are a law unto themselves: 15 Which shew the work of the law written in their hearts, their conscience also bearing witness, and their thoughts the mean while accusing or else excusing one another;) 16 In the day when God shall 8 judge the secrets of men by 14 JESUS CHRIST according to my gospel. 23 Thou that makest thy boast of the law, through breaking the law dishonourest thou God? 1:27 This word ( men ) is the Greek word DUσHQH9 ( arsenes ).
