NOTE – The following crimes (under the Civil Laws) were worthy of judicial consideration: -employer/employee relationships (Exo 21:2-6,20,21,26,27,32 & 23:12, Lev 19:13 and Deut 5:14 & 15:12-18 & 23:15,16) -the family (Exo 21:7-11, Num 27:1-11 and Deut 21:15-17 & 25:5-10) -the innocence (Exo 21:13, Num 35:10-15 and Deut 19:1-10 & 21:1-9 & 22:13-19 & 24:16) -the injured (Exo 21:18,19,22-25,28-31 and Lev 24:18-21) -the loss of property due to: lack of concern (i.e., character) (Exo 21:33-36 & 22:7-15), theft (Exo 20:15 & 22:1-5 and Deut 5:19), and arson (Exo 22:6) -concerning fornication (Exo 22:16-17, Lev 19:20 and Duet 22:28,29) -concerning the stranger, widow and orphan (Exo 22:21-24 & 23:9,12, Lev 19:33,34 and Deut 10:18,19 & 24:17-22 & 27:19) -concerning the poor (Exo 22:25-27 & 23:3,6,10,11, Lev 19:9,10,15 & 25:8-55 and Deut 15:1-11 & 23:24,25 & 24:6,10-15) -concerning leadership: respect (Exo 22:28), honesty and integrity (Deut 1:16,17 & 16:18-20 & 17:14-20), and proper punishment (Deut 25:1-3) -concerning riots (Exo 23:2) -concerning honesty and integrity (Exo 20:16,17 & 23:1,4,5,7, Lev 19:11,15-18,35,36 and Deut 5:20,21 & 17:6-11 & 19:4-21 & 22:1-4 & 24:6,10-13 & 25:13-15 & 27:17) -concerning the aged (Lev 19:32) -concerning jealousy (Num 5:11-31) -concerning war (Num 31:25-54 and Deut 20:1-20 & 21:10-14 & 23:9 & 24:5) -concerning personal property and safety (Deut 22:8) -concerning divorce and remarriage (Exo 21:7-10, Lev 18:18 and Deut 24:1-4) -concerning purity (Deut 25:11-12) 3. Personal Laws - The Personal Laws (crimes against the body) were written to help God’s people properly care for their bodies. These laws reminded the Israelites they were to be a clean people. They were to care for the body: - concerning foods (Lev 11:1-23,41-47 & 20:25 and Deut 14:3-21) - concerning cleanliness (Lev 11:24-40 & 12:1-5, Deut 23:10-12 and Exo 22:31) - concerning disease (Lev 13 & 14:33-57 & 15:1-13,16-28,31-33 & 18:19 & 20:18, Num 5:1-4 and Deut 23:13 & 24:8-9) - concerning the appearance of his people (Lev 19:27-28 and Deut 14:1-2 & 22:11-12) and his preachers (Lev 21:5) 4. Ceremonial Laws - The Ceremonial Laws (laws that pictured CHRIST ) were written to reveal to the world the belief of God’s people. These laws pictured Jesus concerning his death and his deity. According to the Bible, the following crimes (under the Ceremonial Laws) were worthy of capital punishment: - not sacrificing properly (Lev 17:8-9 and Deut 17:1) - not keeping the Sabbath (Exo 20:8-11 & 31:12-17 & 35:2-3, Lev 19:3,30 & 26:2, Num 15:32-36 and Deut 5:12-15) NOTE – The following crimes (under the Ceremonial Laws) were worthy of judicial consideration: - concerning CHRIST’S death - The sacrifices (I Cor 5:7) (Exo 12 & 23:14-18, Lev 1-7 & 12:6-8 & 14:1-32 & 15:14,15,29,30 & 16:al1 & 17:all & 19:5-8,20-22 & 22:17-31 & 23:all, Num 5:5-10 & 15:1-29 & 19:1-22 and Deut 12:1-14,27 & 15:19-22 & 16:1-17) - concerning CHRIST’S deity - the tabernacle (Rev 21:3) (Exo 25-27,30,36-38) and the High Priest (Heb 4:14) (Exo 28,29,39 and Lev 8,9,16 & 21:10-24) 5. Separation Laws - The Separation Laws were written to govern the way the Israelis should look and live. These laws reminded the Israelites that they were to be different than all other peoples. They were to separate themselves concerning: -concerning bribes (Exo 23:8 and Deut 16:19 & 27:25) -concerning nudity (Lev 18:6-18 and Deut 22:30) -concerning the handicapped (Lev 19:14 and Deut 27:18)

- the world (Exo 22:31, Lev 12:3 & 19:19 and Deut 22:9-11) - vows (Lev 27:1-25, Num 6:1-21 & 30:1-16 and Deut 23:21-23) - their service to people (Deut 23:1-8) and the preacher (Lev 21:19 & 22:1-16)
