SO I TOOK THE PLUNGE AND CREATED A CREATURE WITH THE ABILITY TO CHOOSE. I UNDERSTOOD THE RISK THAT I WAS TAKING.” The GREAT FATHER paused again, and then continued, “YOU SEE, BECAUSE I AM THE ALPHA AND OMEGA, THE BEGINNING AND THE END, THE FIRST AND THE LAST, I FOREKNEW THE RESULTS OF MY CHOICE. ALTHOUGH MANY OF THE ANGELS I CREATED WOULD CHOOSE NOT TO LOVE ME, AND THUS CAUSE GREAT DISRUPTION THROUGHOUT MY UNIVERSE, I ALSO FOREKNEW OF THE UNPRECEDENTED BEAUTY NEVER WITNESSES BEFORE BY CREATION THAT WAS ABOUT TO COME. SO I MADE MY DECISION.” Once again, the CREATOR paused, and then continued, “YOU SEE, WHAT YOU DON’T KNOW IS THAT, BEFORE YOU WERE CREATED, THE PLANET YOU NOW INHABIT WAS ONCE INHABITED BY THE ANGELS (Ezk 28:11-19). ORIGINALLY, IT WAS CREATED A PERFECT WORLD (Isa 45:18), AND WOULD OFTEN BE VISITED BY ANGELIC BEINGS. THEN SATAN, ONE OF MY LEADING ANGELS, GOT PROUD AND REBELLED AGAINST ME (Isa 14:12-17) WHILE ON THIS PLANET. AS A RESULT, THIS EARTH EXPERIENCED AN UPHEAVAL AND BECAME WITHOUT FORM (Gen 1:2). IT THEN HAD TO BE REMADE. THAT’S WHERE YOU TWO COME IN. YOU WERE CREATED TO ENTERTAIN MY SECOND CREATURE OF CHOICE –MAN. IN ORDER TO END THE REBELLION THAT CREATURES OF CHOICE HAVE FASHIONED, I HAD TO CREATE ANOTHER CREATIONWITH THE POWER TO CHOOSE IF I WAS GOING TO END THIS DISTURBANCE ONCE AND FOR ALL ( GEN 2:17b ).” The great duo acknowledged and then asked, “GREAT MASTER, How long will it take to end the upheaval?” “SIX THOUSAND YEARS,” nodded the CREATOR. “Only six thousand years?” noted the duo. “That’s a drop in the bucket compared to your eternality. Compared to eternity past and eternity future, 6,000 years is not long at all.” They smiled. “One last question MASTER,” asked both Nature and Creature. “Wouldn’t it have been easier not to have given certain of your creations the ability to choose?” “IT WOULD HAVE,” replied the MAKER. “BUT TO REMOVE CHOICE IS TO REMOVE LOVE.” “GREAT MASTER, How do you plan to end the rebellion?” “COME,” motioned the GREAT MASTER. “I WILL SHOW YOU.” The GREAT FATHER pointed back to the screen once again. Time moved forward and then abruptly stopped. “THERE! DO YOU SEE THAT CROSS ATOP THAT HILL?” asked the MAKER. “We do,” answered both Nature and Creature. Then, without even realizing it, the GREAT FATHER (Isa 9:6) shrugged his shoulders, as if He felt the cross rub against a back He did not yet wear. The great duo noticed. They inquired, “Will you go down there?” “I WILL,” nodded the CREATOR (Colo 1:16-17). “Is there no other way?” begged both Nature and Creature. “THERE IS NOT,” said the GREAT MASTER (Mt 23:8). Immediately, all heaven stood to fight. All eternity poised to protect. Even Nature and Creature volunteered to defend. But the MAKER (Isa 45:11) gave no command. Sensing the decision the CREATOR was about to make, both Nature and Creature argued, “It would be less painful…” “IT WOULD,” replied the LORD (Rev 19:16). “BUT IT WOULD NOT BE LOVE.” “REMEMBER THIS,” added the KING (Isa 44:6). “MOST OF CREATION WILL NEVER GET TO DO WHAT THEY ‘WANT’ TO DO IN LIFE; RATHER THEY WILL GET TO DOWHAT THEY ‘HAVE’ TO DO IN LIFE. I TOO ‘HAVE’ TO DO THIS, IF THE REST OF CREATION IS TO ONE DAY EXPERIENCE AN UNPRECEDENTED BEAUTY NEVER BEFORE EXPERIENCED.” Before they knew it the screen disappeared and the great duo were back in the Garden, where they noted the man GOD had just created. “What will you call him?” asked both Nature and Creature. “ADAM,” said the LORD. The CREATOR then paused and smiled at the man whom He had just given life. One day, soon, it would all be over. The devastation and upheaval wrought by a creature’s ability to choose will one-day end –it will end with the CREATOR choosing to become a part of His own creation. Free will… given time, it works. Suddenly a torrential downpour of love swelled up within the GREAT PRINCE (Dan 8:25). He would die for the creation before he had made him (Titus1:2). In the mind of the Creator –He already died for His creation before he had made them… 1159
