'Leave no man behind' is crap, and the suits know it, 'cause they not only left us to rot, but set up operations to take us out. You know it, Captain. You were in the mix right there with us. You know! They're still huntin' us, Henry, and they have the list and you're on it." “I really don’t care Gunny,” Henry answered, “I've lived my life, and a bullet to the head is a lot faster than pinin' away in some retirement home. I’ll fish 'till I die, or if what you say is true, I'll fish 'till they kill me.” I couldn’t resist any longer. I felt like a dummy just sitting there. There was a story here and I wanted to hear it, so I said “Guys, what’s going on and what are you talking about? I have to know. Are you guys’ hero’s or something?" “You're a snoopy reporter, aren’t you, Kid?” Gunny snapped back. “You guys never reported this stuff because you guys never really know a bout the real world, do you? That’s the problem, while the average individual is just workin', eatin', goin' to the movies, raisin' kids, and commutin', while the real world is burnin' down around you. And you don’t even see it.” “How can we know it if no body speaks up and tells the truth,” I asked. Gunny responded with, “If we tell the truth our families and friends would be at risk. It’s not about us, Kid, It’s about others and always has been. We're not the cold-blooded killers. They are! Tell him, Henr y!” Before Henry could respond I asked, “Who are the 'they' Henry?” Henry stood there quietly, without a word, but from his countenance I could tell that a chord was struck that
