T hen Henry looked straight at me with an intense look and said, ”Zach, we did this 39 more times, goin' behind enemy lines to assassinate high rankin' Vietcong government and military officials. They were all high-profile targets wanted for war crimes and crimes against humanity. We were the most successful black-ops mission operatives at that time, and the most hated and feared ghost team in Vietnam. No matter how hard Charlie tried put the heat on us, we survived, and we were the best out of the whole Dirty Thirty group for our successful mission completions.” I was blown away at the story that I had just heard from Henry. There sat before me an old, crusty, Louisiana fishin' guide that had infiltrated into enemy territory, not just once, but 40 TIMES! and still came out alive. UNBELIEVABLE! I just sat there in amazement and could not say a word. WOW! I looked over at Gunny and then back to Henry and asked, “Where did Gunny come into the narrative, Henry?” Henry responded, “Well Son, I’ll let Gunny tell you. I’m tired of talkin'. Go ahead, Gunny. Tell him, brother.” Gunny began with “Well, Zach, I was sent in to kill Henry.” “WHAAAT???!!!” I exclaimed, and almost fell out of my chair! “YOU WERE SENT IN TO KILL HENRY?! YOU'VE GOT TO BE KIDDING ME, G UNNY!” “Yeah, I was sent in to do the deed, and, no, I’m not kiddin',” Gunny calmly
