The Shaking of Nations - A Harvest Tsunami Is On Its Way....

… on the earth, nations will be in anguish and perplexity at the roaring and tossing of the sea. People will faint from terror, apprehensive of what is coming on the world, for the heavenly bodies will be shaken . (Luke 21:25-26)

From these examples we see that a person or nation is

“ shaken ” through circumstances that bring fear and anxiety,

and loss of trust in the leaders, institutions, and governments

that are supposed to provide stability. When life becomes

unpredictable, full of agitation, people experience deep

insecurity and feelings of helplessness. When it seems in a

crisis that no one cares and no help will come, peace of mind

evaporates.

The writer of Hebrews distinctly states the second shaking will

“remove what can be shaken.” The shaking, then, will be a

“stripping away” of our dependency on people, possessions,

culture, armies, or money as our sources for security and

stability.

All that remain will be the non -physical, the spiritual. People

will come realize that peace and security in this life must be

sought in what cannot be seen. And as the church testifies to

and exemplifies the unshakable life found in Jesus Christ, it will

cause millions to also look to Him for their help and hope. (Heb.

12:28)
