Closing Thoughts

God is indeed shaking nations today as never before. We are

seeing the word of the prophet Haggai fulfilled before our very

eyes. We have watched one of the worst pandemics in America

history with hundreds of thousands losing their lives. This

pandemic has caused a financial crisis second to none.

Thousands lost their jobs and businesses and struggle to find

the new norm in American life.

Alongside these health and economic crises, we have had

some of the worst natural disasters ever seen on both sides of

our nation. The federal government is spending trillions of

dollars to try and soften the financial and social blow on

America. Along with all this I have also watched our nation

become bitterly divided both politically and socially. We are

being shaken as a nation. But it is not just America – the world

is going through just as severe a shaking. Some nations decline

and others arise as peoples all over the world are searching for

peace, stability and some form of normality.

But most alarming is that the American church is caught up in
