Study and Reflection

1. The thesis of this book is that there is and will be a growing

harvest of nations consistent with Jesus' stated

commission? Do we have the right to interpret Jesus' Great

Commission in Matthew 28:18-20 differently from what He

plainly said? If not, then how must we change our strategies

and outreach thinking and efforts?

2. Review the Biblical foundations for reaching and discipling

and baptizing nations. Review again Hag. 2:6-9; Isa. 2:2;

Isa. 40:5; Hab. 2:14; Isa. 60:1-3; Matt. 24:14; Matt. 29:19

20; Acts 13:47.

3. Review in scripture how God raises up key leaders with His

favor in key spheres of influence in a nation touching them

and their leaders with the power and truth of the gospel and

God’s kingdom. Look again at the lives of Daniel, Hananiah,

Mishael, Azariah (Dan. 1:11), Joseph, Ezra, Nehemiah,

Esther (Esther 9:29 - 10:3), the Persian king Cyrus (Ezra

1:2) and Paul (Acts 9:15). Look in modern times at such

leaders as Martin Luther, St. Patrick of Ireland, John Knox

of Scotland, John Wesley, and Martin Luther King.
