Does Anyone Listen?

That brings us to the question, “Are the three angels successful

in their mission?” Yes, praise the Lord. We read John’s words

in Revelation 15:2:

Then I saw what looked like a sea of glass mixed with fire. Those who had conquered [been victorious over] the beast, its image, and the number of its name were standing on the sea of glass holding God's harps in their hands. They sang the song of God's servant Moses and the song of the lamb… .

The Holy Spirit caused John to see a throng of people before

God’s throne who had refused to receive the “mark of the beast”

in order to buy and sell (Rev. 13:14-18). This crowd of heavenly

saints had come through this test with uncompromising faith.

By God’s strength they had resisted Satan’s pressure. They

heeded the angelic warning, the testimony of the two witnesses

(Rev. 11:1-3) and the message of the worldwide church. They

remained faithful in looking to Jesus to be their savior.

We recognize two things from this story: Satan’s fiercest

resistance will not prevent the great harvest. God is going to

trump Satan’s crushing persecution with His audacious

supernatural witness.
