TURKEY MEATBALLS WITH SMOKED PAPRIKA COULIS

MAKES ABOUT 24 MEATBALLS

1 pound ground turkey 1 red bell pepper, finely diced ½ cup chopped fresh cilantro ½ cup chopped green onion 1 egg

cup panko or bread crumbs 1 teaspoon chili powder

2 tablespoons smoked paprika 2 cups heavy cream Salt and pepper to taste

½ onion, diced 2 tablespoons olive oil

1 Preheat the oven to 350ºF. In a large bowl mix the turkey, pepper, cilantro, green onion, egg, panko, chili powder. Season with salt and pepper. 2 Shape the mix into small balls using an ice cream scoop and place on a greased baking sheet. Bake for about 10 minutes.

3 While the meatballs are cooking prepare the sauce. Sauté the onions in the olive oil until soft and translucent. Add the smoked paprika and stir. Add the cream and boil for about 4-5 minutes until reduced and thickened. Adjust the seasoning with salt and pepper.

4 Pour over the meatballs and serve.
