The Royal Chef At Home: Easy Seasonal Entertaining

C hristmas is always a mad sprint for me. My catering company, Eating Royally Fine Dining, runs at a fevered pitch from holiday party to holiday party. My waitstaff are stretched to the limit and I’ll have to call in extra hands. The prep chefs take bets on the size and number of events we will do, yet the actual number is always higher than even they imagine. The logistics of it all take over my life. Finally December 25th arrives and with it, a brief respite. Christmas is here and we are healthy and whole and together and I can’t ask for more. I savor the day with my family, knowing that the upcoming week will be the final sprint of the year.
